Splash into Spring!
Spring—the season of budding flowers, longer days, and…well, mud. Also known as “mud season,” spring greets us with its heavy showers, rejuvenating the earth but often dampening our spirits. Instead of letting the rain lead to your introverted self, head outside and participate in local community activities. Here are a few ideas to get you off the couch and in the swing.
- Sign up for art classes at your local art center. You will be surprised when you discover the variety of classes. From jewelry to photography, there is something for everyone.
- Head to the farmers market, pick up some produce, and start your day off right with healthy juice. Check out www.juicing-for-health.com for tips and recipes.
- Take your workout outside. With summer on its way, there’s no time like the present to get outside to get in shape and start working out in the fresh air.
- Visit the local library and spend the afternoon perusing some of your favorite classics.
