Find a Class and Learn to Paint

07/01/2015 07:46PM, Published by Ryan Frisch, Categories: Life+Leisure Online Extras

We hope our article on the Plein Air Festival inspired you to take up a brush and begin painting. While part of the fun is creating whatever you dream up in any manner you choose, you may want to get some basic information and guidance to help you develop your skills. Many locations in the area offer art lessons, so find a class that interests you and sign up. You won’t have a true appreciation of the work of your favorite accomplished artists until you try it yourself. Painting is fun, and you’ll be completely absorbed by it—a wonderful way to “get away from it all” for a few hours. Meet some new friends and have fun!
