Champlain Orchards 2nd Annual Winter Wassail
A traditional celebration of the orchard trees!
Please join us as we celebrate the Old English Orchard tradition of the winter wassail. The ancient custom of wassail refers to the lively tradition of visiting orchards and singing to the trees to promote a good harvest for the coming year. Our usually quit and serene winter orchard will come to life as we celebrate the wassail with hearty food, traditional songs and wassail drinks for all ages. We’ll have children friendly activities, sledding, snowshoeing, and will stroll through the orchard serenading our trees with song and celebration. Afterwards, we’ll gather at a bonfire on the hill for warm drinks and merriment. To learn more please visit www.ChamplainOrchards.com or call 897-2777.
