With graduation season in full swing, everyone is looking for special ways to celebrate their newly minted alum. For most proud graduates, a delicious meal is the perfect reward for the hard work that went into earning that diploma, but deciding what to eat and where to go can be a challenge.

This graduation season, celebrate with lobster. Lobster’s sweet, succulent meat is the ideal complement to any special occasion, and it can be prepared in a variety of different ways to satisfy everyone’s seafood cravings.

“Lobster is a great choice as part of a celebratory meal because the meat is so sweet and decadent,” said Chef Dustin Hilinski, executive chef and director of culinary at Red Lobster. “What a lot of people don’t know is that there are a number of different ways to prepare it besides whole steamed or a tail on the grill.”

This graduation season, show your graduate how proud you are of his or her accomplishment by celebrating with lobster. Here are three delicious ways to enjoy it:

Use your hands. Roll up the sleeves on those graduation gowns and dig in. Crack into a whole Maine lobster, prepared simply steamed or roasted with crab-and-seafood stuffing, or try lobster in a taco form with fresh, warm flour tortillas topped with chunky pico de gallo or jalapeno-infused ranch.

Feel no pressure to choose. Just like graduates who may be undecided on their next step, or who had a dual major because they had two areas of interest, there’s no pressure to choose just one seafood favorite. Try lobster as part of a combination plate, paired with other seafood such as salmon or shrimp and finished with a decadent sauce like nutty brown butter.

Experience the ultimate celebration. There’s no better way to celebrate the ultimate accomplishment than with the ultimate meal. Try Red Lobster’s Ultimate Feast, featuring tender Maine lobster tail, steamed North American snow crab legs, signature garlic shrimp scampi and Walt’s Favorite Shrimp.
