Say Bye-Bye to Cellulite with QWO®

For most of us, summer means showing off a whole lot more of our bodies in front of a whole lot more people. Between swim playdates, vacations, and weekends on the coast, we spend quite a bit of our time splashing around in bathing suits.

While we adamantly believe all bodies are beautiful and cellulite is a natural part of life, we fully empathize with the desire to bring the dimpling down a notch. Feeling comfortable in your skin can sometimes start with feeling as good about your outside as you do your inside.

We’ve seen the creams, the scrubs, the oils, and the workouts — and some of us have used them! That’s why we’re so excited to announce the newest injectable to our lineup, QWO®, a first-of-its-kind treatment designed to smooth dimpling on the butt area of women.

What is QWO?

QWO (collagenase clostridium histolyticum-aaes) is an FDA-approved prescription injectable used to treat moderate to severe cellulite in the butt area. Researchers have found that the enzymes in the serum get rid of the fibrous septa which is what tethers to the skin causing the indentation/dimple and helps redistribute fat cells and regrow new collagen.

What should I expect?

For a single treatment, you can expect up to 24 injections at once, 12 per buttock, directly into the dimpling areas. This is a less-invasive cellulite treatment than we’ve seen in the past, giving you less downtime after your visit.

While there is proof that this treatment works, it’s essential to be realistic about expectations. This won’t completely erase all the cellulite, but you will see a significant smoothing effect.

Any risks?

With any treatment, there are minimal risks. You may experience some bruising, pain, swelling, or redness at the injection sites. Some women have reported nodules forming. It’s important to discuss your health issues with your specialist before deciding to move forward with QWO.

I’m in! What next?

Great! We’re excited for you. Call us today to discuss setting up a consultation to discuss your expectations, decide how many treatments are necessary, and any other concerns you may have.

Look and feel great this summer!
