Moving to City Life from the Vermont Country needed some updating!

Peregrine Design/Build worked with a couple that raised their family in the rural Vermont
suburbs and dreamed of one day living the “city” life. They found a place with sweeping views of
Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains beyond, but the dated interiors were not what
they had in mind for their empty nest. They consulted with Peregrine to upgrade the  condominium to complement the spectacular views and their new lifestyle.

One of the must-have items was a home office but the clients also requested a thirty-six inch

Wolf dual-fuel range, with a chimney-style hood. They had walnut cabinetry in their prior homeand wanted to continue that look in the dining and kitchen areas with the custom-built pieces.

Building inside a high-rise had its own unique challenges. One of the trickier ones was bringing the quartz countertops up to the eighth floor by crane. With the building located on the waterfront, there was always a high-wind potential, not to mention the heavily trafficked street.

Despite the challenges, Peregrine Design/Build was able to transform this space into the dream city home that complimented the couple's new lifestyle.
