Whim was founded by Melissa Desautels with the help of her sister Caitlyn. Whim’s brick & mortar store was opened in March 2007 on Main Street in Burlington, Vermont. The web boutique, whimboutique.com, launched shortly after in August 2007. Whim is now located at 62 church st – the heart of shopping in burlington.
