Welcome visitors and trick-or-treaters with a festive wreath on your front door. Wreaths are easy to make, so gather some supplies and autumn leaves, berries, pinecones, tiny pumpkins, or wheat and play with arranging them until you get a result you’re pleased with.

For Katharine Montstream, the decision to try to make a living from her artwork was an easy one. “It was never scary,” she says. “I was selling real estate and waitressing and I started making little cards, and they were selling really well.”
